Mike Adamsky is a co-founder of Hansen Beck, Certified Business Trainer, and Leader of activities for the USA region.
Mike’s distinguished and varied career spans 30 years of international leadership, sales and training experience within military, corporate and entrepreneurial environments.
Mike holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering (B.S.), Nuclear Engineering (M.S.), and International Business (MBA), and is also an Insights Discovery Licensed Practitioner.
He resides in the USA (Clearwater, FL) and Europe (Zagreb, Croatia).
Career experience
Mike’s three decades’ worth of career experience encompasses numerous senior management positions which has seen him work extensively across the USA and Europe.
In his early career, Mike held the role of US Naval Officer in nuclear submarines, where he earned promotions, commendations, and the Navy Achievement Medal during five strategic deterrent patrols in the Atlantic.
Thereafter, Mike progressed into the pharmaceuticals industry, initially working at Merck, then Hoffmann-La Roche in project management positions, advancing into general management.
For eight years Mike held the position of Head of US Operations for several divisions of Roche followed by DSM. During this time, Mike had P&L responsibility for organizations in manufacturing, packaging, R&D, distribution, sales, finance, and QA.
Mike has enjoyed working together with the global network of Hansen Beck partners since 2008 to serve a diverse client base from coast to coast and in Europe. His specializations include leadership, B2B sales coaching, intergenerational effectiveness, and executive team coaching.
Beyond life in the corporate world, Mike is a dedicated and happy husband, sailor, cook, reader and Dad.
Jurja Adamsky is a founding partner at Hansen Beck and Certified Business Trainer serving the USA and Croatia.
While Jurja is a medical doctor, she has garnered over 20 years of experience in business development, project implementation, team development, sales, and marketing within the international healthcare environment.
Her clients are among others: Siemens, Gucci, John Deere, Petrokov, FIVE, Addiko Bank, Sennheiser, and Porsche Cars North America.
She is a graduate of the University of Zagreb with a B.S. in Medicine and is an Insights Discovery Licensed Practitioner.
She is based in the USA (Tampa Bay, FL) and Croatia.
Career experience
Before becoming a full-time trainer in 2008, Jurja served in various roles in the healthcare industry including Sales Manager, Business Unit Director, and OTC Manager. It was in these roles Jurja launched brands and developed sales and product management teams across different cultural environments. Later working in F. Hoffmann-la Roche and Bayer, Jurja was responsible for coordinating the regional implementation of several global mergers and acquisitions.
As a medical doctor, Jurja enjoys cross-referencing her knowledge and experience between business and scientific environments. She works as a consultant to the World Health Organization, delivering training and technical assistance in the implementation of prevention programs related to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Asia, Africa, and Europe.
Jurja now applies her multifaceted experience to develop people and potential in businesses from blue-chip companies through to successful startups. She enjoys coaching in leadership, team development, sales and negotiation, and develops new training modules like managing remote teams in response to evolving business environments.
Jurja proudly holds dual Croatian/US citizenship and speaks fluent English and Croatian.
Frank Adamsky, Ph.D. is a founding partner of Hansen Beck and a Certified Business Trainer serving the USA.
Frank’s 36-year career spans the realms of production, technical, R&D, sales, marketing, and business development in both leadership and management positions.
His most recent clients include Cisco, Novus, CP Kelco, Mondi, Abcam, Metalsa, John Deere, Syntegon, and Honda America.
Frank has earned a B.S. and PhD in Chemical Engineering and an M.S. in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering. Frank is also certified as an Insights Discovery practitioner.
He is based in Alabama, USA.
Career experience
Frank has worked in all sizes of companies from a six-person start-up through to $50 billion/year conglomerates.Before training at Hansen Beck, Frank served in a variety of management roles at Daikin Industries Ltd across the functions of sales, marketing, technical services, and R&D. In these roles, Frank first developed, then launched, and sold specialty chemicals globally that continue to produce over $100 million in high gross-margin annual sales revenue.
Frank previously worked for biotech start-up Agentase, LLC, working on biological and chemical weapons detection systems based on enzymatic response. He has also previously worked in management roles at Bayer (Industrial Chemicals division), English China Clays, PLC, Westvaco Corp, and Calgon Corp.
Furthermore, Frank has taught senior and graduate-level Chemical Engineering classes in polymerization and chemical process safety at the University of Alabama Huntsville and the University of Pittsburgh. He currently holds three US and global patents.
Frank’s hallmark is his innate ability to coach with contagious energy while maintaining laser-focus on his client’s KPIs. He specializes in business transformation, negotiation, self-management, and sales effectiveness, and challenges participants to reach their true potential.
